Monthly Market | The last Saturday of every month – drop in, say hi, pick up your food order or browse the items for sale on the day. |
Monthly Members’ Pot-luck Supper | Each month Common Ground organises a members meeting that is open to all members to come along and meet each other. We use this opportunity to share news and ideas and to help initiate new ideas and projects. |
Food Savers | Food Savers is an initiative by Common Ground Bray to tackle food waste. We work with FoodCloud to collect surplus food from supermarkets like Tesco before it goes to waste, and give it to people in the community. |
Edible Bray | Common Ground have developed community gardens at the recycling centre, the Albert Walk, and several other locations in Bray which are open to all members to come along and help tend and cultivate. |
Beachcomb for Plastic | A clear up of the beach in Bray – help us get the plastic off the beach and away from the sea, so it’s no longer a threat to marine life. |
Klinkerdin | Klinkerdin is Common Ground’s own eclectic arts salon. |
Repair Café | Don’t throw things away just because they are broken – bring them along to the Repair Café and our team of repair experts will help you to get your stuff fixed! |
Sunday Meditation | Join us for Meditation, every Sunday at 11am |
Women’s Group | This is a weekly group where we can enjoy and discover the support of other women. |
Workshops - Common Ground are based in Beverly studios in Bray and have a number of rooms that we use for our meetings and markets. We also run workshops from these spaces that are part of our skill sharing initiative. Some of these workshops are free (with a small donation to CG). If the workshops are not free we try and keep them affordable to members.
We also hold many mind and body workshops, with Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, Aikido and many more classes available at reduced rates for all our members – See our practitioners page for contact and information…here.
Payment for Events/Workshops -
Common Ground want to support those using our space to earn something from their skills by providing our rooms at a reasonable fee. However an emphasis is put on providing Events/Workshops/Classes at competitive rates to Common Ground members. Free skill sharing events are also encouraged.
Any financial transactions or bookings for Events/Workshops/Classes are between the attendees and practitioner/teacher/organiser.
A 20% discount is available on all class fees offered by practitioners to CG members.
