Hi All
As you might already know the Common Ground Frost Fair has been part of our annual calendar and has been running since 2014. It’s been a great opportunity for members to showcase their craft and art skills and to get the opportunity to sell their wares. It’s become a tradition amongst our membership and many have come away with a good bulk of their xmas shopping completed! This year is different though (need we say more!) and we can’t run our fair in our Common Ground premises on Church terrace due to Covid-19.
This year we decided we’ll put the Frost Fair online and allow our members to link to their online shops and sales pages via our website.
So below are links to our virtual stalls – please try and support our members by purchasing through their links.

Living in Wicklow on the edge of the Sugarloaf and near to the coast, I am surrounded by beauty and nature. Rolling fields with cows, sheep, horses and hidden in the hedgerows and trees, pheasants, owls, hares etc. My studio has views over to Wicklow Head and I feel inspired every day to paint. I love to create interesting paintings with depth and soul and using a mixture of natural organic pigment paint work to create beautiful natural marks and patterns.

Nuala McKenna Jewellery and Crafts designer
Hi, I’m Nuala and I hand make jewellery, crafts and gifts. I am a self taught creative and have been creating, making and putting things together for as long as I can remember. The creative process provides a space for me that is relaxing and enjoyable. I have facilitated creative workshops where I have encouraged others to enjoy the process through creating cards, bookmarks, dream catchers and Christmas decorations. I love colour, light and texture, things that shine, things that sparkle and things that catch the eye, which is probably reflected in a lot of my work 🙂 I use new items together with vintage components where I can to create new and original pieces. Being able to reclaim and reuse something that is destined for landfill is a definite win for me. I made the decision that this year, I was going to give my love of being creative a proper outlet so here I am, giving it a go, with my facebook page online since early November. For now, I make earrings, keyrings, different styles of bookmarks, and most pieces are one of a kind. I will be adding new items as I go. Please click on the link to access my page, take a look through the albums and let me know if you have any queries

As the acorns ripened and fell to the ground, the last of the nettles produced seed and the Cailleach took up her blackthorn staff, the dream of “Airmid’s Journal” was borne.
We invite you on this journey with us to witness, share, co-create and take root.
AJ is intended to be an ever growing tapestry of stories, woven together with the plants of this land. Old stories, new stories, personal tales and present spells. Here we share the voices of those who tend to the wild wells, offering nourishment to all those who wish to drink from the source.
