Dear Common Ground Members,

Its coming up to FROST FAIR time of year again and we would like to offer you the wonderful opportunity to participate in Common Ground’s Frost Fair taking place on Saturday November 25th  from 2 – 7pm in the Common Ground building at Beverley Studios.

We are sending this call out for members to become stallholders so that they can show our growing community their creations or indeed share their musical skills with us. We really want to support our creative community so please limit any sale of goods that are not your own. We also ask that any produce that is on your table which is not your own be from an ethical source.

In the past the stalls have included jewellery, cards, bakery, soaps, textiles, knitwear, flower arrangements, paintings, seasonal decorations, papercraft, cardmaking, ceramics, woodcraft, leather work, metalwork, doorwreaths, pot pourri, cushions and rugs, table décor, cakes and puddings, homemade chutneys, organic dried herbs etc. We would also be delighted if you have something new to add to the list.

This year we hope to have seasonal workshops throughout the day. Watch the Common Ground facebook pages for updates as the day approaches.

Stall space is available to book at the very reasonable cost of €10 per table payable in advance as soon as we confirm we have a space for you. The payment secures your place. We also ask for 10% of any takings over €100 euro. e.g. if you earn €150 you pay €5  to Common Ground at the end of the day.

Common Ground has the following tables available on a first come first served basis. You may provide your own table if you wish but please inform us of the dimensions in advance:

LOFT (UPSTAIRS):

4 tables 3ft by 2ft approx

2 tables  5ft by 2 and half feet

KITCHEN area for Baking/ Cooked goods only:

2 tables 3ft by 2 ft approx

BASEMENT, with wood burning stove:

4 tables (hexagonal shape?) 84cm x 63cm x 137cm

Pool table 6ft by 4ft

Strong table 6ft by 2ft

Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis and tables will be assigned randomly with every effort made to keep similar stands at a distance from each other. If you have any special requirements (i.e. Additional space for rails, request to be against a wall etc.) please indicate at the time of booking. Space is of a premium and if not previously agreed we may not be able to accommodate you on the day.

Refreshment in the form of tea and coffee will be made available to table-holders free of charge on the day.

There are limited electric sockets available – please advise if you need one

Table holders will need to bring their own table coverings

A chair for each table is available to table holders

We also ask that you share news of the Frost Fair amongst the  wider community!
